No one was struck or injured during this shooting. On Friday May 17, , in the early morning hours, Alvarez was arrested in the City of Riverside for his involvement in the two shootings. Seized during his arrest was a loaded firearm, which Task Force Officers believe was the same firearm used during both shootings.
Alvarez was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for the listed charges. On Friday May 03, , Lopez-Chacon was arrested in the City of Riverside for his arrest warrant and an unrelated offense. A year-old juvenile and documented gang member was also present at the location. The juvenile was arrested for possession of a loaded and unregistered firearm.
